Dushi® Buttons is the Koppert Cress brand name for an edible flower. Very sweet, with some mint and perfume. One scoop on a dessert already gives a surprise. Beautiful with red fruit. Delicious on a scoop of ice cream. Dushi Buttons is very sweet and therefore a good counterpart to bitter dishes. Also think of combinations with a sweet onion or citrus. A really exciting combination is Dushi Buttons with coffee. Hide it in a dish and the eater will wonder where that flavor comes from. Crumbling also works.
The plant has been in Europe for centuries, thanks to the Spanish researchers who quickly recognized this plant as tasty and sweet. Because it contains a little camphor, it is not suitable for concentration. Therefore, you will not find it as a sugar substitute, only in this natural form. We chose the name Dushi (darling) because of the South American character of the plant.
